What
Is That?
It's a Mil Gauge.
We use it to measure the thickness of our wet finishes. Liquid Ceramic
protects with a coat four times as thick as the average paint. Using
the wet mil gauge, we assure consistency of coverage.
The notches on the
edges of the mil gauge get progressively deeper by the amount shown above
each notch. A mil is about the thickness of a piece of paper, which
coincidentally is about the thickness of a normal coat of paint.
Notice the smaller
readings on the right side of the gauge, a traditional painter would use
this side. A coating of Liquid Ceramic compares at four times thicker
or about the same as a phone book cover, which means our applicators
would use the Left edge to measure its depth.
Liquid Ceramic is
carefully applied by professional applicators to guarantee good contact
with the surface. The result is a tough, durable coating that is
also an excellent thermal barrier.
We take special care
in every step of the process to assure your complete satisfaction.
Consider the fact that you'll never have to paint your house again,
and then give us a call. We'll even give you a free Mil Gauge
of your very own.
